Rack Scoring

"The Missouri Deer Classic would like to appologize for the way the big buck contest was handled last year. Several people were hurt by the way we charged every rack to come in the door. That is not going to happen this year, the contest is and will remain optional. We want to make it up to anyone that was hurt last year. Bring your 2009 MDC Scoresheet or your registration in and get in FREE. Again I appologize and were looking forward to seeing you in 2010!"
                                                MDC Chairman Ron Roper

Anyone wishing to have their racks scored must enter & leave through the side door of the arena. No mounts/racks will be permitted to leave through any arena door other than the side entrance for security purposes.

HOW TO GET YOUR ANTLERS SCORED

Rack Scoring1Because of the overwhelming number of racks brought to be measured, it is recommended to come as early in the day as possible. It can take several hours before a rack gets scored.

Those bringing racks in will be required to register their rack (s) for security purposes. This will leave them free to enjoy the show in the meantime.

Antlers may be measured whether they are mounted or not. You're welcome to bring them either way. If your head is still at the taxidermist's to be mounted, ask for your antlers
he/she can let you bring just the Rack Scoring2rack.

Only racks that have had the required 60-day drying period will be scored. No green scoring. Feel free to bring them for show - we'd love to see them.

Racks that have previously been measured will NOT be accepted to be remeasured. Please note that we welcome you to bring them for display. Everyone likes looking at all the trophies.

After 4 p.m. on Saturday no heads will be accepted for scoring unless the owner is willing to wait until Sunday to pick it up. No heads will be accepted for scoring after 1p.m.on Sunday.
